Whether it’s surgery, chemo, radiation, or recovery – all can be utterly exhausting and overwhelming for cancer patients. Clinical fatigue is listed as a very common side effect for all, often lingering long after patients complete their final treatment. Cancer patients are often encouraged to take breaks throughout the day and be sure to rest. And what better way to rest than by curling up with this cozy throw blanket? Ginger Mints

From taste-receptor issues to nausea, ginger mints are a must for cancer patients. These have just the right amount of ginger flavor, without being too spicy or too sweet.

Stainless Steel Tumbler

Most cancer patients will hear their care teams remind them to stay hydrated about 1-billion times. (We miiiight be exaggerating here…) Our stainless steel, vacuum insulated tumbler with leak-proof lid and eco-friendly straw attachment will keep drinks icy cold or piping hot for hours. The skinny format fits in almost any cup holder and is easy to grip, even for those suffering from neuropathy in their hands.

Botanical Body Cream

Dry, cracked, and tender skin can be common surgery and treatment side effects. We adore this unscented lotion from our friends at Polish Your Parts. This particular formula was inspired by medical field professionals who constantly wash their hands, need quick relief and are not able to wear fragrance. Knowing cancer treatments can make even light scents unbearable, this scent-free lotion offers quick absorption and a smooth velvety finish.

No Sweat Ice Pack

While the packaging says, “for lunches,” at Balm Box we believe these are the ideal size for tender surgical wounds, chemo-ports and radiation-sized burns. (And hey – hang onto them for future post-cancer lunch boxes!) The sweat-free ice packs do not leave damp marks on clothes. Cuticle Oil

Some chemotherapy medicines can cause temporary changes to nails – they can become brittle or flaky, and white lines may develop across them. Dry cuticles can be especially itchy and painful.

Loss of appetite and nausea are some of the most well-known chemotherapy side effects. Anti-Nausea Acupressure Wristband
